Camera Infinita (2008, 2009)

Camera Infinita was a curatorial project and group exhibition shown at Art Institute Shibukawa (AIS), Japan, and in an extended version at the Edinburgh Art Festival 2009. While the exhibition space at AIS served as a black box, Edinburgh College of Art's translucent Tent gallery functioned like a prism, redirecting and multiplying the view. This second exhibition combined video works, prints and installations with a collection of photographs taken while travelling in Japan, investigating the notion of inner emigration, and of trajectory within containment.
